Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Change Essentials AI, Claude Skills, pricing, setup, and licensing.
About the Product
A Claude Skill is a structured instruction file that you upload to your own Claude account. It transforms Claude from a general-purpose AI into a specialist tool for a specific change management task. Think of it as giving Claude the methodology, frameworks, and professional judgment of a 30-year practitioner, permanently available whenever you need it. You don’t need to write prompts. You don’t need to explain context. You upload the file once, and Claude knows exactly what to do.
Yes, with the right instructions. The reason most AI output feels generic is because generic prompts produce generic results. Every Change Essentials AI skill encodes specific methodology, structured frameworks, and quality guardrails that guide Claude to produce professional-grade output consistently. The skill file does the heavy lifting. You provide the context. Claude follows the methodology. The output is a strong starting point that you refine with your own expertise, which is exactly how the best practitioners work with any tool.
Ask Claude to write an M&A Day 1 communication, and you’ll get a solid first draft. Ask the Change Narrative Architect, and you’ll get Shadow Narrative Detection, ADKAR®-mapped messaging, Truth-Anchors that neutralise resistance, and a culturally adapted narrative your CEO can send tomorrow. The difference isn’t effort. It’s expertise. Every skill encodes the methodology, the frameworks, and the professional judgment that a generic AI doesn’t have, no matter how well you prompt it.
You receive a downloadable skill file (a structured text document) and a quick-start guide. You upload the skill file to your Claude account as a Project Knowledge file. That’s it. From that point on, Claude has the specialist capability built in. No software to install. No platform to learn. No ongoing dependencies.
No. If you can upload an attachment to an email, you can use these skills. Each purchase includes a quick-start guide with step-by-step instructions. Most users are up and running in under five minutes.
Pricing and Purchasing
Individual skills are $495 each, a one-time purchase. You can also access the entire library through a subscription: $895/year at the founding rate (locked for life, limited availability) or $1,100/year at the standard rate. The library includes all current skills, every new skill released, and all version updates.
The founding rate is $895/year for the full library, locked in for life. It never increases. It’s available for a limited time only and will never be offered again once the window closes. Founding subscribers also get priority input on the product roadmap.
The library includes all 10 current skills (over $4,950 if purchased individually), plus every new skill released and all version updates. If you expect to use three or more skills, the subscription pays for itself. If you only need one specific skill for a single project, buying individually may make more sense.
You keep any skill files you’ve already downloaded. You lose access to new releases and future updates. You can re-subscribe at any time, but if you originally had the founding rate, that rate is gone, you’ll rejoin at the standard rate.
Your individual purchase stands — you own that file permanently. The library subscription gives you access to everything else plus ongoing updates. We don’t currently offer credits for prior individual purchases against the subscription price.
Refunds and Returns
All sales are final. Because these are digital products delivered immediately upon purchase, we do not offer refunds. This is standard practice for downloadable digital products. We encourage you to try the free Change Communication Audit skill before purchasing, so you can experience the quality and approach firsthand.
If you experience a genuine technical issue, a corrupted file, a missing component, or something that doesn’t function as documented, contact us and we’ll resolve it. We stand behind the quality of every skill we sell. Technical support is included with every purchase.
Once a digital skill file is delivered, it cannot be returned. Unlike physical products, there’s no way to verify that a file has been deleted after a refund. This is why we offer a free skill — so you can evaluate the quality, the methodology, and the approach before you make a purchasing decision.
Setup and Usage
A Claude account from Anthropic (claude.ai). That’s it. The skills are designed to work with Claude’s Projects feature. No additional software, plugins, or integrations are required.
Claude’s free tier has usage limits that may restrict how much you can use a skill in a single session. Claude Pro ($20/month from Anthropic) provides significantly higher usage limits and is recommended for professional use. This is a separate subscription directly with Anthropic, not with Change Essentials AI.
No. Each skill includes ready-to-use commands. You don’t need prompt engineering skills. Just type the command and provide your context, the skill file handles the rest.
Under five minutes. Download the file, upload it to a Claude Project, and start using it. The quick-start guide walks you through every step with screenshots.
Yes. Claude is accessible via web browser and mobile apps. The skills work anywhere Claude works.
Iterate. These skills are designed for professional use, the first output is a strong starting point, not a final deliverable. Add more context, ask Claude to adjust the tone, request a different format. The skill is persistent within your project, so every follow-up builds on the methodology. Think of it like working with a specialist colleague: the first draft starts a conversation, not ends one.
Licensing and Use
Yes. The license is granted to you as a practitioner. You can use the skill to produce work for any of your clients, across any number of engagements. The output belongs to you, or to your client, per your own agreements.
Each person who uses a skill needs their own license. If you have a team of consultants, contact us about team licensing — we offer multi-seat access for firms with three or more practitioners.
The skill files are not designed for modification. They contain carefully structured methodology that works as a complete system. Editing the file may degrade performance. If you need customization for your organization or practice, contact us to discuss options.
Yes. All purchases and use are governed by our Terms of Use. By purchasing, you agree to the terms outlined there. Key points: one license per user, no redistribution, no modification for resale.
AI and Professional Concerns
No. These tools multiply your expertise, they don’t replace it. A stakeholder map still needs your political instincts. A communication still needs your reading of the room. A resistance strategy still needs your understanding of the culture. What changes is the time you spend on deliverable production. Instead of half a day building a stakeholder matrix in PowerPoint, you spend that time on the stakeholder engagement itself. The AI handles the scaffolding. You do the work that requires a human in the room.
Is using Excel for financial modelling cheating? Is using a template for a project plan cheating? These are professional tools. They encode real methodology and produce outputs that still require your judgment, your context, and your expertise to be useful. The practitioners who adopt specialist tools early will set the standard. The ones who don’t will spend three times as long producing the same deliverables.
It will change them. If your value proposition is “I spend 40 hours building deliverables,” then yes, this disrupts that model. But if your value proposition is “I deliver results,” then producing better work in less time makes you more valuable, not less. The best consultants are already billing for outcomes, not hours. These tools accelerate that shift. Bill smarter, not longer.
You should always review AI-generated output before using it in a professional context. These skills produce strong starting points, not finished deliverables sent without review. Your data in Claude is governed by Anthropic’s privacy policy. For highly sensitive information, review your organization’s AI usage policy and Anthropic’s data handling practices. Many practitioners use anonymised or generalised inputs for sensitive situations.
Languages
Claude natively supports over 80 languages. All Change Essentials AI skills can produce output in any language Claude supports. Simply request the output language in your prompt, e.g., “Produce this in French” or “Write this in Japanese.” The methodology adapts automatically.
Claude’s language capabilities are strong and improving continuously. For business communications, the output quality is generally very good across major languages. For critical or public-facing communications, we recommend having a native speaker review the output, the same practice you’d follow with any translation, human or AI.
